Takashi SATO Piano Concert

Place: Drama Theater at Dar Al Assad for Culture & Arts, Damascus
The Embassy of Japan in Damascus and the Japan Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the General Association of Dar Al Assad for Culture & Arts, will hold the solo piano concert by the Japanese pianist Mr. Takashi SATO.
Mr. SATO is one of the most distinguished Japanese pianists. He studied music at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, the top university in Japan in this field, where he graduated with top honors. He is also a finalist for the Queen Elizabeth competition 2010, one of the most famous piano competition in the world, besides winning various awards both in Japan and all over the world.
On the concert in Damascus, he will play an Arabic tune especially arranged for piano and Japanese music as well as some well-known piano pieces by world-famous composers.
The tickets will be available at the ticket counter at Dar Al Assad for Culture & Arts from March 9, 2011.
