The Japanese Grant extended to the Association amounting to US$ (52,828) aims to provide modern hearing aids and other educational aids that give the handicapped students wider chances to complete their education. More than 50 handicapped students are expected to benefit.
By this grant, the Health and Social Level Improvement Association in Idleb will purchase the following equipment:
It is worth mentioning that Japan, since the start of its Grassroots grant Scheme in Syria in 1996 has funded (74) projects in different fields targeting people with special needs and others. The total amount of the so-far implemented projects in Syria within this scheme have reached US$ (3,883,425).
These new Japanese grant is a token of friendship and excellent relations between the Japanese and Syrian peoples.
Special Educational Equipment Donated to Handicapped Students in Idleb under Japanese Grant Assistance
Within the framework of Japan’s Grassroots Grant Assistance Scheme, Mr. Masaki Kunieda , Ambassador of Japan in the Syrian Arab Republic, signs a grant contract, of US$ (52,828) to Health and Social Level Improvement Association in Idleb to finance its Project for Improvement of the Deaf-Mute School Education in Idleb. The signing ceremony will take place on Wednesday 24th of March, 2010 at the Cultural Center in Idleb City under the patronage of H.E. the Governor of Idleb Eng. - Middle Ear Analyzer
- Hearing Aid Testing
- Construction Cost for Soundproof Room
- Hearing Aid
- FM Assistive Listening (Receiver and Transmitter)
- Desk for Teachers and students
- Chair for Student
