   The Embassy of Japan in Syria has suspended its Consular & Visa Section effective March 8, 2012 citing a recent surge in violence. If you planned a trip to Japan and are required to be issued a Japanese Visa, you are advised to contact the following Embassies and Consulate-Generals.
